How we measure AI visibility
We do not send paid requests to AI assistants. Instead, we evaluate the signals that these engines use to choose and cite their sources: structured data (JSON-LD), usable FAQs, an entity recognised on Wikidata and Wikipedia, the clarity and freshness of your content, and the directives you give to AI crawlers. The stronger these signals, the higher your chances of being cited.
This is why our analysis runs without AI tokens: it relies on indirect but verifiable signals, observed directly on your site and on public sources. It measures your readiness and your citability, not a guarantee of being cited. No engine can promise that, but solid signals put the odds on your side.

Why does AI visibility matter as much as classic SEO?
Being found on search engines
For years, visibility meant ranking on Google. That work still matters. Clean tags, a clear structure, useful content and solid technical foundations (robots, sitemap, fast pages) decide whether a search engine understands your site and shows it to the right people. soranety reviews these classic signals and tells you, in plain words, what helps your pages rank and what holds them back. The goal is simple, make your site easy to read for a machine and pleasant for a human.
Being cited by generative AI
A growing share of people now ask a question to an AI assistant instead of opening ten links. When that happens, the assistant quotes a handful of sources, and you want to be one of them. This new discipline, often called GEO, rewards pages that are clear, well structured and easy to verify. Structured data, an honest FAQ, a recognised entity on Wikidata or Wikipedia, and consistent mentions across the web all raise your chances of being cited. soranety checks how ready your site is for this shift, so you stay visible whether a person searches or asks a question to an AI.

Frequently asked questions
Is soranety free? +
The core analysis relies on free, keyless data sources. soranety is in beta: usage is free, with a daily project quota.
How does soranety measure AI visibility? +
We assess AI-readiness (citability): structured data, FAQ, recognised entity (verified Wikidata/Wikipedia), content clarity and AI-bot directives.
Is my data safe? +
We only analyse the public surface of your site. The security audit exploits nothing and concerns only sites you own or are authorised to audit.
Do I need to install anything? +
No. A URL is enough. You get a report, a prioritised action plan and ready-to-publish content, exportable to HTML, PDF, JSON and Markdown.
